We continue our Autopsy Report reviewing two uniquely built teams in the Rockets and the Raptors. For the Houston Rockets, their present and uncertain future is financially tied to the two most offensively volatile tandem in the NBA with Harden and Westbrook. This season proved that while small ball is fun to watch its not a long term sustainable roster that can compete with the powerhouse teams in the current NBA, and after losing their architects of such maniacal strategy, the biggest task for Stephen Silas an unknown future Rockets GM is how do you construct this roster to compete without fear or favor to cater to their superstars. Its a dicey game of chance for the Rockets and so far they are rolling snake eyes with very little chips to gamble with for their future.
Further north, in Toronto , the Raptors have an embarrassment of riches and talent in a wide open Eastern Conference that looks like they didn't lose a step with Kawhi Leonard heading to LA. While The Raptors were unable to defend their championship, they did make an impressive run to be second best in the East and participate in the second round of the playoffs. Still with all the positive takes, the tenured guys like Lowry, Gasol and Ibaka are showing their age, and the biggest question that makes pundits nervous is whether or not the talent can catch up with the veteran contributions that has gotten them here. Also has the Masai-ah set Toronto up as an attractive destination for the Giannis FA Sweepstakes. Ohh our forensic examination of both teams are audacious and deep and you don't want to miss out on that. Download and Discuss with US!
